Behold: Breath of the Wild’s latest amazing fast-travel trick

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is just the game that keeps on giving. A Chinese player, who emulated the game on PC, found the latest way to transform Link’s Hylian journey into a high-speed spectacle. How this trick seems to work is that Link hurtles downward, ready to do some shield surfing. There are tons of examples of players messing with Breath of the Wild’s physics to give Link an in-air boost. Think you’ve seen everything Breath of the Wild has to offer?

Bowsette sets Breath of the Wild alight in this work-in-progress emulated mod

Breath of the Wild's PC mod scene is bizarre and amazing, wrote Lauren Morton last year, and it's still throwing curveballs today. Bowsette—the Bowser-Princess Peach crossover that first stormed the interwebs last month—is the latest star to enter Hyrule via emulation. (Before we continue, this from Wes on how the Cemu emulator's devs got Zelda: Breath of the Wild running in just a few hours is worth a gander.) Observe:For those interested, the Bowsette in Breath of the Wild mod isn't available

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Adds Playable Bowsette

report this adUnless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably aware that Bowsette has taken the internet by storm in the last few weeks. Bowsette has now grown beyond fanart and into a playable character in Breath of the Wild, thanks to a new mod. So far, Lynard Killer has not shared a download link for the content, so it may still be a work i

Zelda NES gets a new “souped-up” version for Switch, should Nintendo make more?

The Nintendo Switch Online Service's library of NES games got a little weirder today with the addition of The Legend of Zelda: Living the life of luxury. Yes, that's the actual title for a new version of the seminal action adventure game, one which exists as its own standalone entry in the list of NES games alongside regular The Legend of Zelda. Diehard Zelda fans may see the indiscriminate meting out of all the original game's secret rewards as sacrilegious, but hey, the original version is rig

Classic Zelda on Nintendo Switch Online gets easier with special save data

Nintendo has made quite a sizable update to the NES library of games available on its Nintendo Switch console via the Nintendo Switch Online service, but one takes the cake: a special save file for The Legend of Zelda. Nintendo promises to release other sets of special save data for its online-enabled NES games in the future. We can already see progression-focused games, like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Metroid, benefiting most from this neat feature. In the same breath, Nintendo dropped three more

Nintendo Switch Online Adds New Version of The Legend of Zelda

With the release of Nintendo Switch Online less than a month ago, Nintendo announced that its NES Online library would be steadily expanding throughout the next few months. Having announced that NES Open Tournament Golf, Solomon’s Key, and Super Dodge Ball would be added to Nintendo Switch Online in October, players were only expecting three new games to be available. Living the Life of Luxury is a “souped-up” version of the original game, The Legend of Zelda. Although the nostalgia is enough to

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Has a Cute Zelda Easter Egg

One such Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Easter egg is a rather cute reference to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the award-winning Nintendo Switch exclusive which has an impressive open-world of its own. This nod to Legend of Zelda isn’t even the only Easter egg that players have found in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey so far. Players have also discovered that the Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed universes are connected thanks to an Easter egg. It’s worth pointing out that Assassin’s Creed Odysse
