Microsoft Solitaire Collection adds a feature everyone has been waiting for: Leveling up

Microsoft Solitaire Collection, the version of Solitaire that comes free with Windows 10, is adding a leveling system. This news has been brought to us via the weirdly good video you can see above, which riffs off the famous "in a world" trailer for Comedian. To quote the video: "Solitaire is going to add a player leveling system with experience points and rewards." So I guess Solitaire is an RPG now? Anyway, here's the trailer for Comedian featuring the legendary voice actor Hal Douglas, RIP.

And now, DJ Pop has done exactly that. You can find instructions for how to download and install the mod on Steam. The Steam Lunar New Year Sale is returning in early February

The Steam Lunar New Year sale is returning soon, starting in early February. Valve sent out a reminder to developers this week, though we're still waiting on an official announcement and specific dates. Last year, the Lunar New Year sale ran from February 15 to February 19, but since the Chinese New Year falls on February 5 this year, the sale may start earlier. If you overindulged in Christmas shopping during the Winter Sale, you might want to sit this one out, as I almost certainly am. It was

My Time At Portia leaves Early Access with a new trailer

Cheery crafting sandbox My Time At Portia has escaped from Early Access today. It’s irrepressibly chipper, which might end up grating, though I found the tone and aesthetic to be exactly what I needed when I played it in Early Access. Between the waiting around and the busywork, my holiday in Portia started to get a bit frustrating. That was an early game issue that I suppose could have eventually been tackled by making more machines, but it was enough to make me wait until it left Early Access

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 trailer digs into the grand strategy campaigns

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 seems to have grand strategy ambitions, judging by the new campaign trailer above. The combined forces of the Imperium, the Necron Empire and the Tyranid Hive each get their own campaigns, stories and accompanying mechanics. On the grand strategy spectrum, it looks closer to Total War than Europa Universalis, with the main focus being building up fleets of warships and sending them into real-time space battles. Worlds have different attributes, including shipyards an

Stardew Valley Battle Royalley is the battle royale mod we’ve been waiting for

But that didn't stop modder Ilyaki from making a battle royale mod for it - and yes, of course it's called Battle Royalley, what else? Battle Royalley is exactly what it sounds like: a battle royale-style fight to the death set in peaceful ol' Stardew Valley. "Everyone will be scattered over Stardew Valley at the start of the game," Ilyaki said on Nexus Mods . I wonder if developer Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone saw this coming when he first announced Stardew Valley multiplayer? It's pretty simple a
