Devil May Cry 5’s coming in spring 2019 and it stars Nero, Dante, and a wise-talking mechanic

Devil May Cry 5 is real, it stars Nero, and it's coming in spring 2019. Don't worry, the teaser ended with a quick appearance from original Devil May Cry protagonist Dante as well. But still, nice of Microsoft to give Nero and friends a great big stage to do their debut on, right? Oh, and one last thing: despite the fact that Microsoft now owns Ninja Theory, which developed DmC: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 5 is being built internally at Capcom. We'll just have to wait and see what Ninja Theory

Blaster Master Zero 2 is now available on Nintendo Switch. The surprise reveal and launch happened during Wednesday’s Nindies Showcase, which focused on independent games coming to the company’s hybrid console. In a nice bit of symmetry, Nintendo announced the original Blaster Master Zero during its first “Nindies” Nintendo Direct in 2017. That game was a loose remake of the original Blaster Master for the NES. Blaster Master Zero 2, developed by Inti Creates, is available now on Nintendo Switch

Anthem’s original story sounded amazing (and much more interesting)

As revealed in The Art of Anthem, the game’s premise was very different once upon a time. Early drafts featured a colony ship from Earth that had crash-landed in what was essentially the ‘Bermuda Triangle’ of space. “Survivors would have to settle, survive, and somehow thrive on a harsh and dangerous world,” writes the game’s art director, Derek Watts. “At this point javelins were utilitarian suits for space travel that then had to be repurposed for battle on a dangerous world,” Watts says. Check out the first teaser trailer for System Shock 3

OtherSide Entertainment has released the very first footage of System Shock 3. Warren Spector of course is the mastermind behind the original System Shock, Thief and Deus Ex games. Truly a legend among game designers and without a doubt a huge boon for System Shock 3. Quite the contrary, getting a first look at the System Shock 3 in form of a teaser and screenshots is more
