The Destiny 2 Revelry event adds a new gun and new gear next week

Destiny 2's spring Revelry event is due to start on April 16 and run through to May 6. Verdant Forest is a lot like the Haunted Forest event, but with more blossom. You fight through as many rooms as you can, facing off against bosses to full up your 'Reveler's Tonic' and drop event armour pieces. You can also earn armour pieces from Eva bounties. You can earn the Arbalest Exotic Kinetic Fusion rifle by completing Triumphs and giving spare Reveler's Essence to Eva.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition Mod Adds Third-Person Mode

Following Gearbox Software’s recent panel at PAX East 2019, it’s safe to presume that there are plenty of Borderlands fans pining away for the first-person shooter series’ forthcoming installment, with Borderlands 3 set to release this September. Until the third numbered entry drops, however, many fans of the franchise are likely revisiting past titles, such as Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition. Interestingly enough, LordEmil1’s Third Person Mode mode for Borderlands: Game of the Year Editio

The ever-growing line-up of Xbox One Game Pass titles continues its rapid expansion with the addition of six more games in April 2019. Monster Hunter and more will be available to Game Pass subscribers soon. The full line-up of April Xbox Game Pass games is impressive beyond just Monster Hunter World, though. Both Monster Hunter World and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be added on April 18. Filling out April’s line-up is, of course, the third-person action game Monster Hunter World, The W

Dolphin emulator for GameCube/Wii games adds netplay server browser

Dolphin is an emulator for GameCube and Wii games that has been going for years and still receives regular updates. The latest adds a server browser so that people playing online can host their own server lobbies, both public and private, and search for games to join. This update also adds a new feature called 'Golf Mode' which removes latency for one player at a time, and can be passed to another player when it's their turn. Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour is the example game for this feature, which

Sekiro PC mod adds ‘easy mode,’ more graphical options

Troubleshoot: delete the (premade) Sekiro profile, add a new profile by stating the full file path to sekiro.exe and try again. If Preferred Refreshrate is missing or game still locks to 60fps see the guide further down on Nvidia Profile Inspector. I was able to get the mod running on my own machine without much fuss, and all the options worked as described. Or you can ignore the speed settings completely and just enjoy the game with a wider field of view. “Patches game’s memory, does not modify

Fallout: New Vegas mod adds a post-game that reflects your choices

Fallout: New Vegas, normally reactive, stops short of letting you continue the game and enjoy the ultimate consequences of your actions once the credits roll. Not so in the new FPGE mod, however, which creates a functional post-game ending. With FPGE, you'll find the world reacting to your big decisions when you return to Nevada. "After two weeks, Hoover Dam is taken over by the respective faction and the fighting stops," reads the description on Nexus Mods. And if you're thinking of taking a tr

Star Citizen’s next update adds a new planet and playable female avatars

Star Citizen’s next update, alpha 3.5, will deliver the game’s newest world — ArcCorp, a sprawling, overbuilt planet that makes Coruscant look like a model of urban planning. Female avatars may be chosen for player characters for the first time, among several other choices in an overhauled character creation suite. There’s also a new flight control system and, of course, six vessels on sale from $65 to $95. “The advantage of this approach,” Roberts added, “is you always get realistic looking pla

Sekiro mod adds Nic Cage death screen

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a brilliant game, and Tom awarded it 92/100 in his review. But if there's one thing it lacks, it's Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage. Thankfully, modder kasaiji has buckled to overwhelming pressure from fans and created a new mod that blesses you with Cage's face every time you die. To install it, follow the instructions on the mod's Nexus page—you'll need to grab the Sekiro mod engine first. A 2016 mod replaced every texture with pictures of both Cage and...er...Shrek.

Anthem Update Adds Loot Changes, Elysian Caches, and Legendary Missions

Legendary Missions will allow Freelancers to revisit Anthem‘s story, replaying critical path missions over again at a much higher difficulty. These Legendary Missions will only be available via a single mission per day, though players can complete that mission as many times as they please. As a reward, Elysian Caches give out cosmetics including emotes and Vinyls.
