Man of Medan’s co-op adds welcome unpredictability to the horror anthology

I'd invited a co-op buddy to join me on this voyage through Supermassive's nautical horror game, and he was not being helpful at all. Movie night formalises the party co-op that sprouted around the first game, letting players pick a character and pass the controller between them. Anthology of horror (Image credit: Bandai Namco) Man of Medan is the first in Supermassive Games' Dark Pictures anthology. After Until Dawn, the studio wanted to capture the diversity of horror's sub-genres, and an anth

Steam adds ‘played on another platform’ as a new way to ignore games in the store

My Steam library currently sits at an embarrassing total of 322 games owned. I buy and redeem codes for a lot of games on Steam. So I just skip it every time I see it, afraid that if I hit "Ignore," Steam will think I don't like Undertale and will show me fewer things like it. I do like Undertale, I just don't want to buy it again to prove a point to Steam. Fortunately, Steam has now added a separate checkbox in a dropdown under the "Ignore" button called "played on another platform."

Dicey Dungeons adds much needed charm to deckbuilding roguelikes

But Dicey Dungeons, a new game by Super Hexagon’s Terry Cavanaugh, caught my eye mostly because it’s overwhelmingly charming. Unlike deck building roguelikes that lean heavy on a grim aesthetic like Slay the Spire, Dicey Dungeons looks more like a Saturday morning cartoon or children’s book. If I have to roll a 16 or higher to activate an attack, that dice roll may suddenly get real tense. As I jump through the mental hurdles presented by some of the later characters, the upbeat and boisterous a

Apex Legends Finally Adds Another Heirloom Set

There's less than a 1% chance to get an heirloom set out of an Apex Pack, with Wraith's being a knife, a unique pose, and a unique voice line. Players can't get duplicates, which helps out a lot, and when that is done, Apex Legends players will be able to preview the set. pic.twitter.com/daQDIW8Pli — Apex Legends (@PlayApex) August 13, 2019If the Apex Legends player so chooses, the

Mortal Kombat 11 Adds New Noob Saibot Brutality, Tweaks Others

Specifically, Noob Saibot has received a new Brutality, whereas the remaining characters have had some tweaks done to their Brutalities, giving players new variations for certain requirements. advertisingBefore moving forward, it's worth highlighting that none of this is out of line with Mortal Kombat 11's standard approach.
