  • Note: We have a scored review of Justice League which you can read by clicking here. Justice League is the biggest disappointment in my life since doctors told me I had rheumatoid arthritis. Whedon had already been helping write the reshoots for Justice League, so he was the obvious choice. Justice League is a blatant appeal to those who didn’t enjoy the darker Batman v Superman. The first ever Justice League movie should’ve been better and that’s something I hoped I’d never have to say.
Review Rebuttal: Justice League is a disappointing pile of styleless schlock

  • Pokemon games have had a tried and true formula for years, so much so that developer Gamefreak has had little reason to really switch things up. With the announcement of a new mainline Pokemon game coming to Nintendo Switch, many fans have been hoping that we’ll see a bunch of changes and improvements come to the series via the console/portable hybrid and according to a new rumor, that may be true. Apparently, Breath of the Wild’s reception and the reaction to Mario at E3 was so overwhelmingly p

  • Need For Speed Payback’s progression system was deeply hindered by loot crates. It was almost as bad as the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 loot crate situation, but slightly easier to digest. With so much backlash for the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 loot crates (microtransactions have since been put on a temporary hold), it was only a matter of time until Need For Speed Payback joined Battlefront 2 in the limelight. Before it got to the same point as Battlefront 2, the Need for Speed developer, Ghost Gam

  • We are nearly through November and while Netflix is still adding new titles to the streaming service, we can set our eyes on what is coming and going this December. As far as month’s go, next month is a bittersweet month for the streaming service. We will see new additions of hit documentaries, like Planet Earth II, blockbuster superhero movies, such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Netflix Originals with big names, like the upcoming Bright starring Will Smith. • Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has seen its fair share of the spotlight recently and it doesn’t look like it will be going anywhere for the time being. The backlash was so fierce that EA cut the cost of heroes in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 by 75%, as well as cut the campaign credit payout by 75%. One games analyst has come out with a hot take on the situation and this time, it’s not Michael Pachter. Wingren went on to say that Star Wars Battlefront 2’s launch was handled poorly, but the reaction from th

  • After the Belgian Gaming Commission decided to look into whether Star Wars: Battlefront 2’s loot crates qualify as gambling and the public backlash to the game’s loot crate tied progression system, EA decided to temporarily pull the in-game purchase options from the game. The silence after the drama has allowed EA time to decide how they will re-implement the microtransactions, allowed analysts to begin releasing their opinions on the situation, and given room for Lucasfilm to release a statemen

  • This review will contain spoilers for the recently released Justice League movie. As far as the first ever Justice League movie’s villain, sure, he could’ve had more to do than just trying to destroy the planet. The fact of the matter is, THIS very early, ragtag, version of the Justice League simply isn’t ready for Darkseid. The circumstances surrounding the creation of ‘Justice League’ may not be the best. ‘Justice League’ pulls that off with flying colors.
Review: Despite its issues, ‘Justice League’ is worth celebrating as a step in the right direction

  • The original Hand of Fate was quite similar in concept, but as with all creative things, it had flaws. Hand of Fate 2 seems to have buffed them out and even added a few elements to the game. You’re forced to play this dangerous card game with him and his tone seemed to mock every wrong turn you made. Despite this, Hand of Fate 2 is ultimately an improvement over its already cult classic predecessor. Who knows, maybe one day, Hand of Fate 3 will end up adding another player into this one-on-one c

  • The infamous Channing Tatum Gambit movie is slowly becoming the Duke Nukem Forever of the movie world. The movie, in its new iteration, will be getting a new working title. For those who don’t know, a working title isn’t a movie’s actual title, but their production name. Previously, Fox was calling the film’s working title “Chess”, but new reports from Omega Underground claim that the film is now working under the title “Forevermore.” The specifics of the working title change are unknown, but it

  • Over the last few years, the rise of microtransactions in video games has made consumers fear that their games will be ruined by corporate greed. There’s only a handful of publishers still pumping out solid single player games while others move towards an online centric market which allows for more money to be made after the initial $59.99 purchase of the core game. One developer who won’t be incorperating microtransactions is the very independent, player driven studio known for The Witcher seri

  • The subject of Ben Affleck returning to the role of Batman after Justice League is one that has been hotly debated throughout all of 2017. It’s unlikely he’d be able to or want to do a trilogy of Batman movies into the late 2020s and according to rumors from reputable sources, it sounds like Reeves doesn’t really want Ben Affleck as his Batman. While nothing is confirmed, multiple sources are corroborating that Matt Reeves wants Jake Gyllenhaal and they have had one meeting. We’re not going to k

  • You’re likely already aware of the crappy week EA had with what was going to be their biggest game of 2017, Star Wars: Battlefront 2. It all started when players got their hands on the game through EA Access last week. Now EA has told investors that the lack of microtransactions won’t affect how much the company brings in. Maybe EA will pull the microtransactions permanently if fans cry out louder after hearing this statement. Star Wars: Battlefront II is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and
