Battletech: Heavy Metal adds eight new mechs and the Black Widow next month

The new fighting machines aren't listed in the announcement, but a list of eight mechs appears on a readout in the trailer and that's probably not a coincidence. The further it moves, the harder it hits, which could give fast-moving light mechs a real leg up when things get hairy. "Heavy Metal brings a greater level of diversity to Battletech by including eight new ‘Mechs and a variety of devastating weapon systems that will change the way players destroy their opponents," Harebrained Schemes co

The PC version comes with some exclusive additions, like padded solitary cells, a new warden, psychiatrist office

Fortnite Chapter 2: Easily farm XP with this bug before it’s gone

There's a lot of new stuff going on in Fortnite Chapter 2 with its big new map at the centerpiece. But players have discovered a likely unintended bug that grants players 2,000 XP each match just for crossing a few bridges. Crossing any of the bridges (or just entering their vicinity) will reward you 2,000 XP for a total of 8,000 XP if you visit all four. You can repeat this process with every match to get a nice little XP farm going. Though be ready for the possibility that widespread knowledge

This fishing sim is just as chill, but less messy, than the real thing

Which is why I decided, rather than brutalise another pike, I would play a bit of The Fisherman: Fishing Planet, a new sim from Bigben Interactive instead. You can try float fishing, spinning, bottom fishing, and even a spot of trolling. (Image credit: Bigben Interactive)The main reason I play simulator games is to relax. But honestly, I'm enjoying just idly fishing for tiny bass on the starting lake with the most basic equipment. The Fisherman seems like a decent sim, although admittedly I've o
