Colorblind Rainbow Six Siege players are begging Ubisoft for basic features

Colorblind players have been sharing their struggles since Siege’s launch in December 2015 , but Ubisoft has been very slow to react. As accessibility becomes more of a focus in game development, colorblind modes have become common across AAA games. Siege would benefit from colorblind modes more than most games. Tuning colorblind modes can be tricky for a competitive shooter like Siege. “I’m just happy about it.”The comparison between Overwatch and Siege isn’t perfect, but players aren’t asking

From 50 Cent: Bulletproof to Oxenfree, indie Sean Krankel has wild stories from making licensed games

Sean Krankel was sitting across from famous music producer Jimmy Iovine, on the exceptionally debaucherous set of 50 Cent's "P.I.M.P." Once upon a time, Sean Krankel had to morph the forsaken Jim Carrey Grinch movie into a sensible video game. Sean Krankel (Image credit: Sean Krankel)Years later Sean Krankel would co-found the indie studio Night School and make Oxenfree, putting them on the map. 50 Cent: Bulletproof is really just the tip of the iceberg that is his strange past in licensed game

The new Sims 4 character creator makes some hilariously depressing sims

(Image credit: Future)I'm surprised the new Sims 4 character creator didn't exist sooner. And maybe this is down to how I answered those questions, but it generated some of the most hilariously depressing sims I've ever seen. (Of course the unemployed guy whose life goal is to be hated by other sims starts off with more money.) The first character The Sims 4 made for me tapped into memories I thought I had long suppressed. I'll eventually get my sim to the ultimate Fabulously Wealthy milestone,

The 5 Best Legendary Weapons In Destiny 2: Forsaken (& The 5 Worst)

If you manage to roll a weapon perk like Outlaw that can easily mitigate this problem. Basically, it’s a good weapon right out of the gate and absolutely horrifying if you manage to get the cluster bombs perk. advertising5 Worst: The Militia’s BirthrightThis grenade launcher is honestly a fun weapon with the right rolls, but a dumpster fire with the curated rolls. advertising2 Best: BygonesArguably the best weapon as a result of Forsaken is the kinetic pulse rifle Bygones. advertising1 Worst: Ho

Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro already challenged by Huawei’s MagicBook Pro

Internal specs may make the differenceOn the lower end of the MacBook Pro lineup, the Honor MagicBook Pro could be a real contender. The MagicBook Pro does include an Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics processor (GPU), which can improve graphical performance slightly. Those specs won't compare tot he higher-power processors and GPUs that are likely to show up in a larger MacBook Pro. The MagicBook Pro appears to have plenty to challenge lower-end configurations of any potential MacBook Pro updates, a

A Disney investor thinks it should acquire Activision Blizzard

Disney has not so slowly been gobbling up the world of entertainment, placing countless companies and universes into the house of mouse. One investor reckons it should now add Activision Blizzard to the list, suggesting that esports would be a good fit for Disney's TV networks. I briefly allowed myself to imagine Blizzard getting the Star Wars license, but as interesting a prospect as that could be, letting Disney monopolise another industry probably isn't a great idea. The company owns over $22

Ryzen 9 3900X shortage is leading to jacked up prices on eBay

So popular, in fact, that the Ryzen 9 3900X is extremely tough to come by at the moment, unless you're willing to pay an inflated price on eBay. Pricing on eBay for the 3900X currently ranges from $639.99 on the low end all the way up to $999.99 at the very top. AMD is chalking up the shortage to a "historic launch," adding that it's working to replenish inventories among its retail partners. We’re excited to see the overwhelmingly positive reaction to Radeon 5700 Series and Ryzen 3000 series de

A demo for Tokyo RPG Factory’s next game is now on Steam

Their task is to guide the wandering souls known as the Lost, and serve as keepers of the Living World and the Beyond. Odd as that sounds, the themes of protection, shepherding, and sadness are pretty well in character for Tokyo RPG Factory. The trailer looks good, and even better than that, a demo is now available on Steam. Any progress earned in the demo will carry over to the full release of Oninaki, which is set to come out on August 22. It's available for pre-purchase on Steam for $45/£36/€
