Magic: The Gathering Throne of Eldraine Set Announced

At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Wizards of the Coast gave fans their first official look at Throne of Eldraine, a new Magic: The Gathering set that will be available this fall. Magic: The Gathering‘s Throne of Eldraine set was developed with a top-down philosophy, which means that the concept of the set’s world was defined first, and then individual cards and mechanics were designed to fit that concept. With respect to the cards that will be included in the MTG Throne of Eldraine set, very little i

Mortal Kombat 11 Fans Are Tired of Director’s ‘Trolling’

Ever since the release of Mortal Kombat 11 back in April, fans have been asking for more details on who the MK11 DLC characters will be and when they will be available. While it has now been confirmed that Nightwolf, Sindel, and Spawn will eventually join Mortal Kombat 11‘s Shang Tsung as DLC fighters, release dates for these three characters are still nowhere in sight, and fans are starting to grow tired of Mortal Kombat 11 director, and series co-creator, Ed Boon’s frequent teasing on Twitter.

The Snowpiercer TV series trailer is here – all aboard!

The first trailer for the post-apocalyptic series Snowpiercer has been revealed at Comic-Con, teasing a very cold turn from Jennifer Connelly. Based on the same comic-book series as Bong Joon-Ho's 2013 film, the new series will expand on the story across multiple episodes. Meet Sigma, Overwatch’s new gravity-warping hero

After a weekend-long tease on the official Overwatch Twitter account, Blizzard revealed the game’s next hero. Meet Sigma, Hero 31 of Overwatch, who is revealed in a new origin trailer. Not only is he a big, burly man who uses anti-gravity mechanics ... but he’s a part of the terrorist organization Talon. It looks as though Sigma will serve as a Talon tank, which is a very cool niche. We’ll likely get to see the details of his gameplay toolkit soon, but this is certainly a memorable introduction

The Lion King almost had an ABBA soundtrack

This month’s remake of The Lion King knows what it wants to be: the exact thing as the 1994 version, but glossier. With now-iconic characters, a sharp wit, and a memorable soundtrack provided by Elton John, the original Lion King has a legacy that left little room for improvement. Which is why, at least for some stretch of development, The Lion King was almost an ABBA musical. “It was a real head scratcher for a lot of us,” says Lion King producer Don Hahn. It’s unlike any other Disney opening s
