Breach developer QC Games closes its doors

Breach is an ambitious co-op dungeon crawler with echoes of Shadowrun, The Secret World, and Devil May Cry, released in January by a team of former BioWare and EA developers calling itself QC Games. Yesterday, QC Games announced that it is pulling the plug on both the game and the studio. Breach Starter Packs and QC Points will no longer be avai

The Witness is free on the Epic Games Store

The Witness, the lovely but baffling 2016 puzzle game from Braid creator Jonathan Blow, is now free on the Epic Games Store. Click here, click "free," and just like that, it's yours for keepsies. I'll be honest, I didn't like The Witness as much as I wanted to. That's not to suggest that it, or any game, has to be finished to be enjoyed—just an FYI that The Witness is super-tough. The Witness is free for the taking until April 18.

BioWare boss Casey Hudson says the studio’s problems ‘are real’

BioWare issued a hasty public response to the report, but it was so evasive and dismissive that it only served to cast the studio in an even worse light. Yesterday, however, BioWare general manager Casey Hudson reportedly sent a memo to employees, obtained by Kotaku, clarifying the studio's complaints about the report but also acknowledging that, by and large, it was accurate. "The article mentions many of the problems in the development of Anthem and some of our previous projects. These problem

Last we checked on Fallout 76 player Vault101manguy, he had built a murder maze filled with fake doors and one furious Deathclaw, and was busy luring unsuspecting players into it to see if they could get out alive. By building a disco filled with dead, gyrating Brahmin. What's a Brahmin disco? If Stefon from Saturday Night Live were to describe it, he'd probably say it's got everything: dead mutated cows, flashing traffic lights, powered tesla arc traps, Dan Cortese...Basically, it's that thing

Another challenge in Fortnite this week is utilizing the Treasure Map loading screen in a fun new way to keep up with this season's pirate theme.
