The Division 2 guide: Safe Houses

The Division 2 has Safe Houses scattered around its world. Unlike Settlements or the Base of Operations, Safe Houses act more like fast travel points than bases. But Safe Houses are worth getting as early as you can to help make your trip around D.C. that much easier. Safe Houses also come with their own Projects attached. We recommend taking 45 minutes to run around D.C., and unlock the Safe Houses early in The Division 2.

Valve’s (almost) ‘anything goes’ content policy devalues Steam and harms developers

But what we tried to do compared to Rape Day is completely different. One More Story Games CEO Jean Leggett suggests that Steam’s current content policy is alienating for some developers. “After significant fact-finding and discussion, we think ‘Rape Day’ poses unknown costs and risks and therefore won’t be on Steam,” Valve says. Members of U.K.’s Parliament and the Scottish Parliament have called for stronger legislation around content like Rape Day. Valve’s reactionary process ensures that alm

Nvidia bringing new movie-quality graphics tech to GTX cards

The new driver will allow the GTX cards in question to play games with real-time ray tracing features. Adding RTX support to GTX cards is undeniably a positive step for Nvidia and the advancement of graphics technology. For that reason, it’s a big deal that Nvidia is extending ray tracing support to GTX cards. Without those cores on the silicon, GTX cards will only be able to support a reduced implementation of ray tracing. For instance, Battlefield 5’s RTX-powered reflections are a relatively s

Spider-Verse’s director explains the movie’s most mysterious Easter egg

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has many, many winks and Easter eggs hidden within its frames, including Bagel Hits, Peter B. Parker’s Judiasm, and the brief “appearance” of Donald Glover. But maybe the Easter egg of all Easter eggs is a mystery that goes all the way back to the very beginning of Miles Morales’s story: The number 42. In the comics, 42 is Miles’ winning number when his name is drawn in the lottery for Brooklyn Visions Academy. And the spider that bites him is marked with a 42 —
