AirPods 2 could fully charge wirelessly in just 15 minutes, according to new leak

XDA writer and TV host Max Weinbach has revealed a few more interesting tidbits on Twitter, the most significant being that Apple’s true wireless headphones will reportedly charge from empty to full juice in just 15 minutes. If this is true, it will be a huge improvement over the current AirPods’ three-hour playback from a 15-minute charge. AirPods wireless charging will happen. The addition of super-fast wireless charging will, however, change the design of the case itself. Weinbach also makes

Anthem Causing Full System Crashes on PS4, Sony Reportedly Offering Refunds

The title has been plagued with plenty of problems since release, but one issue is arguably more serious than others, as it involves a bug that leads to complete system crashes on PS4. Apparently, this is an issue that has persisted for some users ever since partaking in the game’s VIP Demo back in February. As of now, there’s no telling just how many PS4 players have been affected by this particular system crash issue via Anthem, but it’s definitely not a bug to be taken lightly. After all, the

Anthem players say the game is crashing their PS4s

PlayStation 4 owners are reporting that BioWare’s new game, Anthem, has bugs severe enough that the game is forcing their consoles to shut down. “When encountering a crash or game error, sometimes I get booted to the main menu or out of the game completely to the PS4 dashboard,” Reddit user forthemasters wrote. “No other game causes my playstation to randomly turn off while playing,” wrote Reddit user TheMadTitanGuantlet. Anthem players have shared similar stories on the game’s official technica

Steam game about raping women will test Valve’s hands-off approach

It’s literally called Rape Day. “You can’t reasonable [sic] consider banning rape in fiction without banning murder and torture,” the developer says. “Most people can separate fiction from reality pretty well, and those that can’t shouldn’t be playing video games,” the developer continues. “I have not broken any rules, so I don’t see how my game could get banned unless Steam changes their policies,” the developer wrote. “My game was properly marked as adult and with a thorough description of all

NBA 2K League announces 2019 draft pool with diversity as the focus

The draft pool, announced Monday, includes two women among 150 new entrants — a first for the league, whose inaugural draft class last year consisted of 102 men. Winnowing down the list to this point from the approximately 7,000 NBA 2K players who qualified for the league’s combine in December was a multifaceted process, with a stated focus on improving the diversity of NBA 2K League rosters. “I wouldn’t say we’re satisfied,” Brendan Donohue, managing director of the NBA 2K League, told Polygon

The last big Shazam! trailer goes for broke with super powers

The final trailer for Shazam! brings some more childlike levity to the nitty-gritty DCEU, but pits the young hero against an electricity-slinging villain. We still don’t get much in the way of plot — is there more of this movie waiting in the wings? — but we do get plenty of Chronicle-esque found-footage comedy that actually lands (unlike Shazam himself). The lighthearted, goofy Shazam follows the mega-fantastical Aquaman and will be followed in October by an ’80s-gangster take on the Joker.

How Nick Fury lost his eye in the comics

How Nick Fury lost his eyeIn his transition from a WWII grunt in a period comic to a modern sci-fi super spy, Fury earned one major change: an eyepatch. And that’s how Nick Fury lost his eye, in the comics: He sacrificed it to keep his men safe, and to keep kicking Nazi butt uninterrupted. Nick Fury Jr., the son of Nick Fury, is the current, living Nick Fury of the main Marvel Universe. The series also introduced Marcus Johnson, a soldier who looked a lot like Ultimate Universe Nick Fury, and wh

The Occupation is a short, sharp, time-sensitive political thriller

The Occupation is a journalist investigation thriller, wherein I am tasked with saving Britain’s liberty. I’m granted a few short hours, a pager, a pocket watch, a couple of helpful allies, and a schedule of interviews. A game centered around journalism risks being dry, but The Occupation sings thanks to its core mechanics. A door open requires multiple inputs to take the handle, pull the door open, and close it again. Playing The Occupation is like puzzling over a dense little knot of tangled p
