Agony has a new story trailer, and it’s almost too much to bear

Agony looks like a charming video game. Instead of gloomy dark hallways containing jump scare monstrosities, the actual hallways themselves are monstrosities (they pulsate and bleed and generally look unpleasant). And in keeping with Outlast 2's infamous charred baby pit, this new Agony story trailer (embedded below) shows a baby being fed to a big gaping mouth. The trailer purports to outline the game's story. Don't get me wrong, I will play this wretched video game and hopefully enjoy it, but

You’ll tame a volcano with poetry in Haiku Adventure

I found Haiku Adventure tucked away in the Leftfield section on the basement floor of EGX Rezzed this year. Maybe that seems overly poetic, but Haiku Adventure is all about poetry and calmness. Haiku Adventure is heavily inspired by Japanese ukiyo-e landscape prints (think of The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai). Haiku Adventure uses haiku to allow for a more magical interpretation of the natural world. Haiku Adventure is in the very early stages of production with the demo at Rezzed being ma

Which game should Thanos appear in next?

Did you hear they added Thanos to Fortnite? Andy Kelly: Dear EstherIt's exactly the same game, in every way, except the narration is performed by Josh Brolin doing the Thanos voice. Plus, there are people just dying to write some Thanos fanfic, and the Witcher world would be a perfect fit. Have Thanos threaten to delete half the players' accounts unless they defeat him, just so we can watch. Like a top-down version of Evolve, with five people growing increasingly furious at Thanos team-wiping th

Details of the plan are scarce, but according to sources close to the matter, Apple could be planning on doing just that. It’s a strategy that’s been relatively successful for Amazon: its Channel platform allows users to subscribe to third-party sources of content (e.g. One TV app to rule them allThe way it stands now, Apple’s TV app shows content from other streaming services - but, in order to watch that content, you’ll have to leave the TV app. Sources told Bloomberg that after the change goe

Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact now supports Verizon in the US

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact might be the smaller of Sony’s 2018 flagship phones, but is has broader US carrier support than the Sony Xperia XZ2. Sony’s new Compact now works on the Verizon network, making this the first Sony phone to hit the carrier’s CDMA network since the 2015 exclusive Sony Xperia Z3v. We had a look at the Sony Xperia Z4v before it was unceremoniously cancelled ahead of launch. Adding onto that, Google announced that the Android P beta is available on the Sony Xperia XZ2 and

Solving puzzles is only part of the fun in the adorable Tiny Bubbles

Rather than the old brain-teaser flash games it resembles, Tiny Bubbles reminds me more of Nour , an interactive food sim expressly about playing with your food. I'll probably never get tired of watching them stretch and pop and squish together, which is good because Tiny Bubbles gives you a whopping 172 puzzles for $10. And apart from primary and secondary color bubbles, I've also seen brown bubbles which can only be made by mixing contrasting colors, and black bubbles which cannot be popped. D
