BoJack Horseman gets his redeeming moment in TV’s best episode of 2017

[Warning: The following contains spoilers for BoJack Horseman season 4, episode 11.] We learn in BoJack’s fourth season that his mother, Beatrice, is suffering from dementia. Beatrice pushed BoJack away because he represented all of her failures and all who had pushed her to become someone she hated. Despite his ill feelings toward his mother, BoJack will always love the woman who raised him. But ultimately, he does, and that’s what makes BoJack’s arc so emotionally fulfilling and therapeutic.

“Censorship” is an overused, if not misused, word in popular culture. This video from YouTube’s Censored Gaming recaps the year in regional reconstructions. Germany is the video game market most notorious for self-editing. Wolfenstein 2 had to make some remarkably bowdlerized adjustments to its cut scenes to comply with German law. If nothing else, the video demonstrates that popular culture is still not some globally accepted convention.

PUBG has surpassed 3 million concurrent players on Steam

The previous record holder for most concurrent players was Dota 2 with nearly 1.3 million players, PUBG has doubled that. The game has a staggering 26 million players on PC and it only just got out of early access on Steam a couple of weeks ago.
