Destiny 2: Two Player Team Beats Calus in One Phase

This week, a Destiny 2 fireteam of only two players was able to beat the final Calus boss fight in only one phase. Previously, a two-player team was able to beat Calus, but this new team did so much faster. They still used the hiding spot in the Shadow Realm and the Throne Room player relied on Wardcliff Coil to take out most of the enemies. Meanwhile, the Throne Room player is constantly meleeing as many of the Psions as possible to ensure that every damage plate has a Power Ammo brick on it. W

Harry Potter Mobile Game Won’t Impact Pokemon GO, Says Niantic

This week, the gaming world was shocked by the announcement of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, a forthcoming title for mobile devices. Under normal circumstances a mobile game based in the Harry Potter universe wouldn’t have inspired much excitement, but with Pokemon GO developer Niantic on-board things are different. However, some Pokemon GO fans are concerned that this new project might take Niantic away from their favorite mobile game. That being said, if Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is a massive

The Witcher’s original opening redone in The Witcher 3

A modder has brought the playable prologue sequence of The Witcher — launched a decade ago — into The Witcher 3. As of now, this is the best fans can hope for when it comes to a remaster of the groundbreaking original game. Some before-and-after shots show that plenty of work went into building out this updated stage. Right now, it’s just a single chapter of the original game. But maybe it catches CD Projekt Red’s attention, and convinces them a remaster of the original game is worth it.

Crytek’s Warface is trying to get in on the battle royale craze

Crytek — remember them? It’s the latest game to get on the battle royale train. In a post on Warface’s blog, developers said a “new, experimental PvP” battle royale mode would be coming in the next update, but “only for a limited time.”The description sounds like the standard battle royale mode popularized by Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and parroted by Fortnite and in the upcoming The Darwin Project shown at E3 2017. From the wording, it sounds like Crytek will have this ready before the end o

You can now purchase the beautiful maps from Lev Grossman’s Magicians trilogy

I’m a huge fan of Lev Grossman’s Magicians novels, which are the basis for the Syfy show by the same name. The books are fantastic, and each installment — The Magicians, The Magician King, and The Magicians’s Land — came with a beautiful map that detail some of the key locations in the story. In the first novel, a young man named Quentin Coldwater discovers that magic exists, and enrolls in a magical academy called Brakebrills. Like any good fantasy series, the books come with maps. Stranger Things 2: Episode 5 watchthrough — ‘Dig Dug’

By its halfway point, Stranger Things 2 has shown the struggles Eleven’s faced while disconnected from her misfit family. But Nancy tells him she waited. “The answer to what happened to your friend is up here somewhere,” Murray tells Nancy, referring to Barb. Joyce tells him they’re fine and don’t need his help, doing her best to keep him from coming inside. Three to right right.
