Assassin’s Creed Origins’ New DLC Pack is Overpriced

Assassin’s Creed Origins has an extensive DLC schedule that will give players plenty of things to do and new items to collect post-launch. While the new unlocks look cool enough, some Assassin’s Creed Origins players are unhappy with the First Civilization Pack as they say that it is too expensive. Assassin’s Creed Origins players are also frustrated that the pack is not included in the game’s DLC season pass, with some saying they purchased the pass thinking it includes all DLC, like the First

Destiny 2 Will Buff Prestige Activity Rewards in January

It’s been an interesting two weeks for Destiny 2, with the community growing frustrated over recent discoveries within the game. One such method of rewarding those most engaged Destiny 2 users is to incentivize prestige activities. Currently, the only benefit to a Prestige activity is an extra drop (or drops) and an aura that lasts for the week. Either way, it appears that Bungie has been listening to the community and plans to implement several radical and welcomed changes to improve the Destin

Red Dead, Grand Theft Auto Publisher Doesn’t View Loot Boxes as Gambling

This week, Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive put its two cents out into the ether, agreeing with the Entertainment Software Association. While speaking at the Credit Suisse 21st Annual Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference, Take-Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff said that the company does not view loot boxes as gambling. Our view of it is the same as the ESA statement for the most part; so [potential legislation is] going to play its course.”Though Slatoff doesn’t view

Destiny 2: Xur Exotic Armor, Weapon, and Recommendations for Dec 1-3

It’s a major turning point for Xur in Destiny 2, with the Curse of Osiris DLC looming less than a week away. For now, though, Xur still shows up in Destiny 2 in the middle of the night/early morning and he only has his usual spread of exotic armor and one exotic weapon. This week, Destiny 2 players can find Xur on Earth, in the Winding Cove section of the European Dead Zone. Skull of Dire Ahamkara is a returning exotic from Destiny 1, albeit with some tweaks. Xur’s exotic weapon this week is the

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris trailer teases new weapons and armor

But there's still a little bit left for today, in the form of a DLC trailer previewing some of the new weapons and armor coming to the game—some of which may be familiar to fans of the original. OK.As Twitterer daniel p pointed out, the hand cannon seen in the background image of the update looks a lot like Red Death, an exotic pulse rifle from the original Destiny. There's also what may be new raid armor on display beginning at around the 25-second mark of the trailer—and since the armor is Hiv

In today’s “This Week at Bungie” blog, interim community guru dmg04 released a new trailer showcasing new weapons, armor, and even emotes that will be found within Curse of Osiris. Destiny 2 players can look forward to many more armor sets, weapons, and emotes when Curse of Osiris launches properly next week. Doom VFR is out now, so here are the system requirements

I played a bit of Doom VFR last week at a preview event, and while it was on a PSVR and not the Vive, it was pretty fun. The return of telefragging is especially great: in VR, you're teleporting into ailing enemies in order to get the glory kill. Brutal, almost nauseatingly violent, but hey: that's video games. Doom VFR is out right now, so you can go ahead and telefrag until your heart is content (or at least, until your stomach tells you to stop). It's not just a VR version of the 2016 title,
