State of Decay, the actually-pretty-decent open world zombie survival game, is getting a sequel later this year. Much like the original, State of Decay 2 will feature open world gameplay, but in a new blogpost Undead Labs has announced it will be approaching things a little differently. Instead of just one open world, the sequel will feature three at launch. Each of these maps, so says the blogpost, will be "roughly" the size of the map found in the original game. The making of Samurai Shodown

Yet despite being one of SNK’s most-respected properties, little is known about the original Samurai Shodown development team, Samurai gumi. For example, the original Samurai Shodown falls into the second chronological slot in the timeline, while Samurai Shodown 2 is technically fifth, etc. JM: How big was the original Samurai gumi team, and did it grow significantly between Samurai Shodown and Samurai Shodown 3? JM: There was an official Samurai Shodown anime that was released about a year afte

CW kicks off H1Z1 tournament promotion with a new web series about team Echo Fox

The CW network’s prime-time esports event, featuring Daybreak Game Company’s H1Z1: King of the Kill, kicks off today with a new web series. It focuses on Echo Fox, the esports team most recently known as Gravity Gaming, which was purchased by NBA star Rick Fox in 2015. While clearly a branding and promotional exercise for Fox and his team, it will nonetheless be a good look at what it takes to compete in esports on an international stage. The web series prominently features owner Fox in its open

Oh snap, the transition to the Boruto has begun with the announcement of Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker released today! NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER features beloved Naruto characters and teams from the series, including Naruto, Sasuke, and Team 7. I have been playing the Naruto series for a long time now and I love when anime passes the torch to the new generation as well as when video games do the same with their sequels.
